1. Data we collect

To let you use F1 Expenses, we collect the information you give us directly (name, email address, phone number), along with the business data required to run the service: information about the company you represent, billing details, the receipts and supporting documents you scan or upload into the app, and the payment data linked to your expenses. This data may be gathered through our website, our mobile app, or any other electronic channel, in order to create your account, deliver the service, and honour our contractual commitments to you.

2. Why we use your data

Your data is primarily used to make F1 Expenses work: creating and securing your account, verifying your identity and that of your company, automatically processing and categorising your receipts using AI, keeping your expenses in sync with Facture.mu, and providing support when you need it.

3. Marketing communications

With your consent, we may also use your data to tell you about product updates, send you helpful content about managing your finances, or ask for your feedback to improve the service. You can opt out of these communications at any time by emailing us at marketing@facture.mu; unless you opt out, we take that as your consent.

4. Sharing your data

We never sell your data. It may be shared, strictly where necessary, with: the other Facture.mu ecosystem modules you're connected to, our technical providers (hosting, payments, email delivery), the relevant authorities where required by law, and a potential acquirer in the event of a merger or acquisition of the company.

5. Your rights

You can access your data, request corrections, ask for deletion, restrict its processing, or object to processing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at marketing@facture.mu with details of your request; we acknowledge requests within 2 business days and act on accepted requests within 15 business days.

6. Cookies

F1 Expenses uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise your browser, remember your preferences, and improve how the service works. You can disable them in your browser settings, though some features may then be limited.
